A True GuardianNOTE: This is being told from 3rd POV!It's a warm spring saturday evening. The sun is slowly setting and there's a red echidna sitting on some stone steps to a shrine. The shrine holds a large and beautiful green gem. Known as the Master Emerald. So the red echidna can only be Knuckles the Echidna, gaurding the Master Emerald as it is his job as guardian. He lays back on the steps in a relaxed position, looking calm and cool. " Today's just like any other " Knuckles says, " boring with no action whatsoever. " He stands up, and walks up the stairs he was once sitting on up to the Master Emerald. " I mean it's nice and all but I could use some adventure or action " He says. Just then as if on cue the ground shakes and there's all loud rumbling sound. " What the hell was that! " Knuckles yells out. The ground shakes again accompanied by the same rumbling sound. Shadow VS. SonicShadow runs down the hallway with the green chaos emerald in his hand Sonic close behind. "Keep up Faker" Shadow says looking back. Sonic ingnores him and starts to run faster. Shadow reaches the end of the hallway relises it's a dead end. "Damn" He says. Sonic catches up to Shadow and stops in front of him. "Hand over the emerald Shadow" The blue hedgehog says. "Uhhh no" Shadow says. He swings his fist at Sonic. Sonic doges it barely and kicks the emerald out of Shadow's hand. The green emerald slides across the floor to the other side if the room. The two hedgehogs look at it and run to grab it. Sonic starts to reach for it when Shadow steps on his hand and grabs the emerald. Sonic grabs his hand and holds it in pain. "Nice job Shadow" Sonic says smirking. "Silence" Shadow says. He holds the emerald in the air and teleports behind Sonic and uppercuts him into the air.
